More than two years ago, Vanquish began Beta testing its original board game, The Game of Fate, inside the Guild Hall. After a full year of balancing, refining, gathering feedback, and countless play sessions, the idea emerged to create a physical version of the game. One year later, that vision is complete.

A total of 25 physical copies were produced, each intended as a special prize for guild members during select events. On the first Sunday of every month, Vanquish hosts Game of Fate Night, an open event where up to 20 players can participate—the physical copy also reflects up to 20 players.

With the game’s success, the concept of a Hall of Fame was introduced. Over a set period of months, players compete to accumulate the most gold, and the overall winner receives a physical copy of the game. Tavistock became the first Hall of Fame champion and recently received her copy.

Another opportunity to win arrives during Vanquish’s annual Labor Day World Boss Marathon. Those who complete the entire run are entered into a final dice roll, and one random finisher earns a physical copy. Last year’s winner, Shell275, has now received hers as well.

The physical Game of Fate is almost entirely 3D‑printed—from characters and board pieces to card holders, spinners, counters, and even the boards themselves. The remaining components were printed, laminated, and hand‑cut. Hundreds of hours went into crafting these sets, and we hope every recipient enjoys theirs to the fullest. As the box proudly states, no two games are ever alike.

The Game of Fate will never be sold. It was created exclusively for members of Vanquish. Future events that award a copy will be clearly announced—and they will remain special occasions.
