Excellent turn out last night for Roll Call, 46 folks in group and a few late arrivals that scrambled to catch up as we marched through Daggerfall! The volume of people in our instanced seemed to tax the server as we crashed out during our march, but we didn’t let that stop us! After reconnecting we found our way to the bank and cause chaos there!
I appreciate your interest and attention, except for TGO there in the front reading his book, does my heart good to know so many are interested in the overall health of the guild and the direction we are going in the future. Aireal has accepted the challenge of trying to get some RP things off the ground in the future for our members with interest please see this thread.

Hello Vanquish! Time to get started folks!
Welcome aboard to all our newer members! We also welcome you to a time-honored tradition…the Vanquish Roll Call! We are honored you have chosen Vanquish as your guild in ESO and look forward too many adventures together.
Reminder to all that following Roll Call we have Take the Pledge forming up for random groups to complete todays non-DLC Pledges!
First order of business the website! We have lots of things happening on the website right now and more changes coming soon.
To ensure the longevity of our Vanquish guild website, we have secured the .com address. On October 1st, 2019 the website address will become www.vanuqishguild.com Please update, or add, to your bookmarks the new .com web address. We hope that a redirect will be put in place but cannot guarantee it.
There have been changes happening on the website. To name a few….Background and color changes that have given the place a fresh look. The Forums section is in the middle of an overhaul to make it more user friendly. The Commanders Corner has been replaced with the new “Overview” tab on the home page.
Also starting in October, the News section of the Forums will see a new Featured Article on a weekly basis. These articles will include things like Member Spotlight, Officer Interviews, Updates and stories from the progression group, tales from Cyrodiil and how Vanquish fairs in the 3 banner war.
Please contact Duck or I if you have suggestions about the website, or if you are interested in submitting News Articles. Not sure if he knows this yet but Lapuaboy has been nominated by Dan to be Vanquish’s Battlefield Correspondent for the website.
…..THE EVENTS PAGE…..Keep your eye on the Event page! We are in the process of updating descriptions, times, days, and who all the events are hosted by. Also, there are new and exciting events coming to Vanquish! Duck will have more details for you in Discord after I finish boring you to death here in chat.
We hope these changes to the site make it more appealing to both current members and prospective members. We’d like anyone visiting the site to feel welcome and informed about Vanquish. There are so many things to get involved in on the website.
I hope all of you will visit soon, be it for the News, Events, Forums, Signature Awards, Request, Builds, or just to send out a Kudos and Recognition to your friends! One last thing regarding the website… It is the glue that binds us as a family, it brings a level of cohesion and organization that is part of any long-term guild.

Next up State of the Guild…usually we seem to be balancing somewhere between tipsy and totally blasted….
Seriously folks, Vanquish has been through a lot this year and guess what? We not only survived …..we have overcome …we stand here today stronger and more closely connected because of all we’ve been through together! Vanquish is in a DAMN good place right now.
Did you see what we did earlier this month…..We established a guild hall and filled it with everything a guild hall could want or need in less than 4 days. This was a task that Duck and I expected to take months. Members of this guild pulled together and demonstrated what we can accomplish when we set our minds to a task! It was AMAZING!!
Our roster currently has 212 members, of those we have 170 active (logged in over the last 3 days), members at this time. 170 in the last 3 days! That is amazing, there are guilds of 500 that don’t have that many active members in the last 30 days.
As always, our doors are always open to family and friends of current members. Also, if while adventuring or PUG’ing you happen to cross paths with someone you feel may be a good fit with Vanquish, simply send them to the site to have a look around and invite them to fill out an application if they like what they see.
We will be adding a new recruitment post to the official ESO Forums in October. This post will be much the same as before, listing our core values and explanation of our guild. It will link to the new .com address for the website and will reflect current leadership and future goals.
Not looking to make a HUGE recruitment push currently, just want to make sure that there is accurate information available for people that are looking for what we have to offer.
Now I’d like to share with you some of our goals for the future.
Vanquish is a guild of moderation first and foremost. As a guild of “moderation” we choose to explore every bit of content the game throws our way from PvP to PvE, End Game to Crafting and light RP without pigeonholing ourselves into saying we focus on any one aspect.
That said we are looking to expand our focus on many areas of the game soon. Some of the events Duck will be talking about in discord will range from beginners to vets in PvE. We also have Delk and Josie heading up Progression Trials for those members ready to start chasing end game. There will be things PvE related for all levels!
We will also be expanding our effort into supporting our PvP focused members. Dan is a great PvP officer and he has built a small scale PvP team that runs every night of the week. Dan has invited anyone interested in joining to contact him. Even if you know nothing about PvP but think you might be interested……talk to him.
This new Guild Tabard design we are wearing today is one of the small things we are doing in support of the PvP group. They are now sporting the DC lion and colors as they represent Vanquish on the battlefield.
Nan is hosting PvP 101 classes for people interested in learning the basics. She is also hosting “PvE on your own time” to help members collect all that PvE stuff the developers placed out in the middle of Cyrodiil.
We will be posting PvP news on the website, including PvP information and requirements in our new recruitment threads. We will continue to encourage members of all levels to attend FnF and join in the drunken shenanigans that have become a constant of the Vanquish community.
Another area of the game we are looking to be supportive of is RP. We’ve opened a Role Play forum for our members that wish to participate and share their back stories. If there are members with an interest it is a place for you to get together and share and plan any future events you’d like to host.
Again, we are “Casually Hardcore” a guild of moderation, we choose to explore every bit of content the game throws our way….jack-of-all trades, master of none. But we will DO IT ALL and we will do it OUR WAY!! Lots of booze, laughs, and fun!
The last thing I’d like to cover today is our current Leadership Core. I have taken on the rank of Guild Commander in game. Truth is someone must do it and well…… News Flash for any of you that didn’t already know…..I woke up one day and realize “Hey, I’m a guild leader of a GUILD!” And not just any guild.. Vanquish, the best damn guild ever.
Our F.A.Q. section on the forums has the question “Who is the guild leader of Vanquish?” on it. When updating this section last week I answered the question this way….,,
Vanquish is led by the husband and wife team of Duck and Savina, the buck stops here! Savina is the in-game Guild Commander and Duck holds the in-game rank of Commander. They are supported by the Vanquish Leadership Core.
Infidelux is Guild Captain. He is dedicated to Vanquish in all regards; he is here every day driving the guild forward by being involved in each aspect of our community.
He runs SmS, and 2 trials every week, while also attending most other events. He helps with recruitment, applications and guild direction. He is usually soft spoken, and sometimes taken for granted but trust me he is one of the champions of our guild. Infi is always looking out for every member when it comes to the big picture of things around here.
Our current officers and their specialties …..
Dan (the man) is our PvP officer and current lead for all things PvP related, including Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. Dan always represents the Vanquish Guild with honor and respect out on the battlefields. If you have any questions about PvP or would like to become involved in PvP on any level, PLEASE contact Dan.
He is an excellent leader and teacher all you need to do is ask him and he will help! He’ll even run PvE content to help gear people up for PvP. He is a wealth of knowledge that is waiting for you to show the slightest interest in his specialty.
Delkurz is one of our newest officers and he is specializing in Progression Raid Team management right now. I would encourage anyone interested in joining or leading one of these raid teams to contact Delk.
He is also a PvE content specialist along with a hell of a nice guy! I can’t thank Delk enough for stepping to help bring end game content to our members. This guy is making a lot happen and he makes it all look easy.
Nan! (@Finn1978 ) is one of our PvP specialist, she host our PvP 101 classes, and helps lead us around Cyrodiil on Friday nights. She is always there to keep us on track and help those of us that get lost or have slow ponies.
Some don’t know it but Nan is also a housing specialist that does some amazing decorating….you should all check out her PvP themed home!
Lenore is….. well “bless her heart” she is LENORE! Lenore is a full content officer that can offer you help in anything and everything. Trust me on this her specialty is knowing a little bit about everything from new player orientation, member management, housing, PvE and PvP she can cover it all.
Now should you happen to ask her something she doesn’t feel she has an answer for….this lovely lady will direct you to someone that DOES. Her heart is pure and here sense of humor is superb! She watches over all of us daily with a mother’s soul love.
Qizax is an officer of extreme fortitude and as levelheaded as they come. He is a content specialist and can answer questions or direct you on just about anything the game has to offer. You’ll find him participating from skyshard runs to PvP scout, he’ll walk you through a quest or help you push end game content.
Q is as helpful and respectful as they come, and he truly loves to chat! Engage him in conversation and you’ll find the wealth of knowledge that he can unlock for you. He is our community adviser, and a damn good one!
Josie (@Tuatha’an) is turning out to be a wonderful cheerleader for the guild. Her optimism in all things Vanquish is refreshing and welcomed among the officers. She is helping Delk with the Progression Raid Teams and she has been working daily to help get groups and activities started for other vet content such as vDSA, BRP, and DLC dungeons.
Josie is another full content officer, she does it all and if she can’t answer your questions she will find someone that can. I expect she will soon be found with member management, roster, and application responsibilities. She is a great addition to the officer team!
Throm (Victus75) is our soft-spoken easy going take it all in stride officer. He can cover everything from new member orientation to vet content. He can fill any role and do it well. He helps us through Imperial City quest, world bosses and PvP battles, and vet trials.
Throm is the guy silently listening and helping you even when you don’t know it. Take advantage of his knowledge and helpfulness folks!
