HAPPY HOLIDAYS VANQUISH
I expect this year’s Holiday Season will prove to be as difficult as the rest of 2020. I know I am not the only one ready to but 2020 behind us. However, I am convinced that this year more than ever before “RAK” (Random Acts of Kindness) is a must for my holidays. I will be performing Random Acts of Kindness each day from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day 2021. I have found that there is more joy in giving than in receiving, and I am not referring to just gifts. I am talking about that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment we get, when we help, counsel, spread laughter, make another smile, spend time with others, or can gift them something they need. These small acts of kindness bring large amounts of joy to both parties. Paying it forward, lifts my spirits and puts a smile on my face each time I do it! Random Acts of Kindness that leave people smiling and happier than I found them is my goal again this holiday season.
PAY IT FORWARD HOLIDAY CHALLENGE
What does this all have to do with Vanquish you ask? It is called the “Pay it Forward Holiday Challenge” I’m challenging all of Vanquish to go out into Tamriel, your own home, and/or your city and “Pay it Forward” each day with me. I want to share with all of you the joy, paying it forward with a random act of kindness each day can bring. Go on smile at that co-worker that you really do not care much for and say, “Good Morning”! Take some of those 1000’s of mats you have in your craft bag and find a new player and say, “Hi could you use 100 of these?” Step outside your comfort zone and when someone in guild chat is asking for help running a dungeon…fill that last spot for them and help them out. Randomly pick someone on the guild list and send them a nice mail with some gift item you think they might need or just a friendly note thanking them for something they have done for you. Stop and help someone out in the world of Tamriel or the real world. And when people act like you are crazy or when you just don’t know how to explain what you are doing…..Just say “My guild leader, Savina, challenged me to “Pay it Forward” and you’re the recipient of me doing just that, have a nice day! /smile”
Vanquish is blessed, we are a guild with much knowledge, an abundance of resources, and members of honor and integrity. Most of us in Vanquish want for little but have lots of items, laughter, joy and/or time to give. So, I challenge you Vanquish to go out and spread some holiday spirit in both Tamriel and the real world.
During the Challenge, Nov. 26, 2020 – Jan. 1, 2021 I will from time to time comment on this news thread to share some of RAK stories. I hope you all will do the same, it could help inspire others and give them some ideas for their own RAK’s!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY PARTY
On Dec 19th, 2020 @ 9 PM EST/6 PM PST we will continue the “Pay it Forward” theme for our Christmas Party. We will meet at the Daggerfall bridge. Wear your best holiday attire or costume, there will be prizes for the best holiday costumes. We will parade through Daggerfall and other large towns, spreading Christmas joy! Vanquish will be helping members of the ESO community as we take our gift giving on the road and visit several zones! We will be interacting in zone chats, offering to craft gear, help with quest or dungeons, basically spouting Christmas joy to all we encounter. Start saving up items to randomly mail to community members in zone chat as gifts. It will be fun for us and for the community at large! I will even throw in a game of Lawn Darts with prizes! Hope to see you all there.

SANTA’S ELVES DECORATE A VANQUISH HOME
Santa’s elves are decorating a home for Christmas on the @vanquishguild account! Everyone will be given a chance to view the home during our Christmas Party. We will also post times closer to Christmas when we will set this Christmas home to the main for members to visit.
AN ESO CHRISTMAS CAROL
Clear your Calendars! (watch the Events page for exact times) This is a performance you don’t want to miss. This years cast will be preforming 6 shows across the 2nd and 3rd weekends of December.
This will be on the events calendar and signups to attend will be necessary since it does takes place in a home where seating is limited.
Last years performances of An ESO Christmas Carol was a huge success. It was so popular that the cast added additional shows so that all that wanted to see it could! I highly recommend signing up for one of the performances and sharing your screen with your family! Merry Christmas to all and we hope to see you there! Streaming is welcomed during these performances.
SECRET SANTA
The @vanquishguild account will be hosting a “Vanquish 2020 Secret Santa” gift exchange. More details will be posted early in Dec. Please do not send anything to the guild account until I make an official announcement with the dates and Official Rules.
BABY NEW YEAR TRIALS
Bring in the New Year with a collection of Naked Trials! Starting off at 11:30pm EST all the way to 3am EST or until we all give into sleep. (last year it was 5am EST before we called it done) New Years from coast to coast! Bring your drinks! Lots of them! Bring your noise makers! Just do NOT bring clothes!
