Merry Christmas Vanquish!
This Holiday Season I’ll be celebrating the spirit of Christmas and enjoying the fun and memories that Christmas brings. I will be counting down the days to Christmas by performing Random Acts of Kindness each day until Christmas. I’ve found that there is more joy in giving than in receiving, and I’m not referring to just gifts. I’m talking about that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment we get, when we help, counsel, spend time with others, or can gift them something they need. These small acts of kindness bring large amounts of joy to both parties. Paying it forward, lifts my spirits and puts a smile on my face each time I do it! Random Acts of Kindness that leave people smiling and happier than I found them is my goal for this holiday season.
PAY IT FORWARD HOLIDAY CHALLENGE
What does this all have to do with Vanquish you ask? I’m calling it the “Pay it Forward Holiday Challenge” I’m challenging all of Vanquish to go out into Tamriel and/or your own family or city and “Pay it Forward” each day with me. I want to share with all of you the joy, paying it forward with a random act of kindness each day can bring. Go on smile at that co-worker that you really don’t care much for and say, “Good Morning”! Take some of those 1000’s of mats you have in your craft bag and find a new player and say, “Hi could you use 50 of these?” Step outside your comfort zone and when someone in guild chat is asking for help running a dungeon…fill that last spot for them and help them out. Randomly pick someone on the guild list every day and send them a nice mail with some gift item you think they might need. Stop and help someone out in the world of Tamriel or the real world. And when people act like you are crazy or when you just don’t know how to explain what you are doing…..Just say “My guild leader, Savina, challenged me to “Pay it Forward” and you’re the recipient of me doing just that, have a nice day! /smile”
Vanquish is blessed, we are a guild with much knowledge, an abundance of resources, and members of honor and integrity. Most of us in Vanquish want for very little but have lots of things and/or time to give. So, I challenge you Vanquish to go out and spread some holiday spirit in the world!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY PARTY
Lenore has other responsibilities, people, and things that need her attention this year. I could never come close to hosting a party as incredible as Lenore has done the last few years. Vanquish will still be having a Christmas Party and you can find the date and time on the Events Page. I’ve chosen to continue with the “Pay it Forward Holiday Challenge” theme for our Christmas Party this year. We will meet at the Daggerfall bridge. Wear your best holiday attire or costume, there will be prizes for the best holiday costumes. We will parade through Daggerfall and other large towns, spreading Christmas joy! Vanquish will be helping members of the ESO community as we take our gift giving on the road and visit many zones! We’ll be offering to craft gear, help with quest or dungeons, basically spouting Christmas joy to all we encounter. Start saving up items to randomly mail to guild members and community members in zone chat as gifts. It will be fun for us and for the community at large! I’ll even throw in a game of Lawn Darts with prizes! Hope to see you all there.

AN ESO CHRISTMAS CAROL
Clear your Calendars! On December 14-15th, Vanquish is doing 4 performances of the play “An ESO Christmas Carol”.
Sat 14th at 8:30pm EST and 10:30pm EST
Sun 15th at 3pm EST and 5pm EST
This will be on the events calendar and signups to attend will be necessary since it does takes place in a home where seating is limited.

SECRET SANTA
The @vanquishguild account will be hosting a “Vanquish 2019 Secret Santa” gift exchange. All Vanquish members are invited to participate and share in the magic of the season. Please read the rules for gifting and take note of the official cutoff date and time! HERE The gift you give can be anything that can be sent via in-game mail!
