Our Events Page is a calendar of events that our members can and should use for signing up for or/and hosting events. On the calendar you click on the individual event to get to the information/signup page for that event. You’ll see an explanation of the event and/or if there are requirements to attend. Depending on the type of event you might also find links to helpful information or addons that will be of use. Just under the event name is the date, time, who the event is posted or hosted by, category or type of event it is and if it is reoccurring. If it is a reoccurring event there will be a link to “switch instance” beside the date so that you can view and sign up for the future event also.

At the bottom of the information about the event you’ll see the signup section, to the right of “Will you attend this event” you’ll find yes/maybe/no. Click on your answer yes/maybe/no and you’ll be added to the event. If the event requires character classes and roles, you’ll see a second screen with a drop-down box for you to choose your character and role that you will be attending with. Once you’ve signed up for an event you should see your name on the list with a number beside it. Some events (such as trials) use the signup order for filling the group. Don’t let the number of people signed up discourage you from adding your name, often people don’t show up or drop at the last minute. Someone that is number 15 or 16 might have a chance of getting into a 12-man trial raid or if the signups reach 24 people a second raid can be formed.

It is a good idea to be online and available for a group invite 10-15 minutes before any scheduled event. The posted start time for events is the time your host would like to move or start the event. Please be considerate of your host and fellow guild members by being on time and ready to go. For some events such as trials and/or a dungeon run the leaders will want to be in the instance and ready to start right on time. If you are not on line when the group is forming (10-15 min. early), you risk losing your spot to the next person on the signups. Do your part by being online and available (this means not already in a group when the invites go out) 10-15 minutes before start time.

Anyone can host events, please allow a 30-minute buffer between finish/start times. If you want to host an event you can click the “+Add Event” button just above the calendar to set up an event. Please be considerate of the host and/or events already on the calendar. If there is a conflict or something that needs worked out between your event and another posted event, please contact the other host.

Keep an eye on the Events page as people add events often. It is not uncommon for a one-time event to go up with short notice. You don’t want to miss Roll Call, Naked Trials, Lawn Darts, or some special event so check often.

Vanquish offers many Static, events each week for our members to enjoy. Here is a list of some of our reoccurring events (look for specific dates and times on the Events page) and a short explanation of them:

Monday night Madness (MnM) – This event is hosted by Cyfrinair, although many of our members can step in to lead it if/when he is unavailable. This event takes place in the Chapter and DLC zones (such as: Wrothgar, Vvardenfell, Summerset Imperial City, Hew’s Bane, Murkmire, Clockwork City etc.). An evening of killing world bosses with your guild mates. The leader will wait for everyone to arrive at each boss before engaging so that everyone can get credit. ALL LEVELS are welcome to attend there are no special character requirements for this event, you will need to have the DLC or Chapter to participate. If you don’t sign up for this event you can still attended just watch for the announcement that MnM is forming up in guild chat.

Undaunted or Sp’zoneD Tuesdays – This event is hosted by Cyfrinair, although many of our members can step in to lead it if/when he is unavailable. Undaunted and Sp’zoneD alternate Tuesdays, so it will be on or the other each week. Undaunted Tuesdays form up in Stormhaven and head out to hit all of the available Undaunted delve dailies! Delve Dailies are repeatable quests offered by Bolgrul, located at the Undaunted Enclave in each Alliance capital. These quests will send you to a specific delve in the world. . Unlike pledges, these quests can be shared with your group, and thus it is possible to do up to 15 of these quests in a day per character. These quests will reward 5 Undaunted reputation, as well as small box of rewards. These quests are one way of obtaining the Draugr motif. Sp’zoneD Tuesdays form up at a wayshrine in the selected zone. Members of the group travel across the zone collecting Skyshards, defeating Dolmans, running the Public Dungeon and collecting Mage books.

War Zone Wednesday (WzW) – This event is hosted by our PvP officer DanTheMann. The event runs for 2 hours and there are requirements that you need to meet. War Zone Wednesday is for our members that take their PvP more seriously. This event is intended for those with prior PvP experience. Dan will not turn anyone away; if you meet the requirements and want to participate, you’re welcome to do so, but please bear in mind that this sort of play requires understanding the map, some intermediate-level tactics, and very quick movement. That may be a little hard on people new to Cyrodiil PvP.

Take the Pledge (TTP) – This event is hosted by Duck, although many of our members can step in to lead it if/when he is unavailable. This event is designed to be for the non-DLC pledges so that everyone can join, although if all your group members have the DLC and want to run it you can. For this event meet up on Discord (PVE room usually) and everyone in the room will be assigned to a randomly chosen (dice will be rolled) group. Signups are not required to participate. Although you can’t pick up the daily pledges until level 45, all levels are welcome to join and run the dungeons along with the pledge takers. The make-up of your group and your abilities will determine if your group runs in normal or vet mode.

Friday night Fights (FnF) – This event is hosted by DanTheMann, our very own PvP officer, although many of our members can step in to lead it when he is unavailable they can’t bring the same level of “Dan’isms” to the event. This is the Vanquish guilds PvP and drinking night, and we take the drinking much more seriously then we take the PvP. Mostly we go where Dan tells us to go and then we try not to get bombed while cursing because our drinks are empty. It is a fun night of “anything goes’ with lots of PEEPS to be had with your guildmates. Requirements for this event are that you run a DC character and are level 10 or above (IF we are visiting Imperial City you will need that DLC). You can get instruction before the event on which campaign we will use and how to enter Cyrodiil if you’ve never been there before, just ask in guild chat or on Discord what you need to do. This is the night for those that don’t really like PvP but would like to earn the AP points to cap the Alliance skill lines. Come on out and have a PEEP on Dan.

Saturday morning Smackdown (SmS) – This event is hosted by Infidelux, although many of our members can step in to lead it if/when he is unavailable. Overland world bosses are what it is all about with a few dolmens some skyshards and the random lore book added for flavor. This event is for all levels there are no requirements other than you must be patient and wait for everyone to arrive at each boss before engaging so that everyone can get credit. This event cycles through a schedule of 3 base game zones each week and when all zones have been completed it starts over again.

Trials (Raids) – We offer a variety of trials, each week for many different experience levels, there are several different host for the events. Please read the individual event pages for more information and the different requirements for each trial event. Signing up is a must for trail events! Normal and Vet trials run several times a week at different times, be sure to read up and select the ones that are a good fit for you. For more information about or to sign up for one of our Vet Progressions groups please contact @Tuatha’an (Josien) or @Delkurz (Delk).

Monster Helm Runs – This event is not being hosted at this time but we are hoping to get it back on the calendar soon. Often members step up and help so that more groups can run at the same time to get the helms our members need. Monster Helms are only available on vet dungeon runs, CP 160 or higher is what is recommended that way the equipment can be traded and usable by all party members. The dungeon that will be ran depends on the helmets that have been requested. Signup for this event and leave a comment about the helm you are looking for. Groups will form according to the people signed up for the event. Leaders might advertise in guild chat to fill or create extra groups but signing up is the best option to guarantee your spot!

WzW on all the other Wednesday of the week (WzW) – Here in Vanquish, as it relates to PvP activities….EVERY day (except for Friday) is Wednesday. And while WzW runs on Wed with requirements that must be met. On all the other Wednesdays of the week you’ll find a WzW group running out in Cyrodiil in a bit more relaxed fashion. This is the group to join if you want to learn about PvP and get some help and experience before joining the actual WzW on a real Wed night. This WzW group is usually ran by Dan but many of our veteran PvP’ers will have the auto invite up and be leading the PvP crew even if Dan is not available. This group is full of knowledge, and TONS of fun to be apart of.

See you at a Vanquish Event soon!
